Analytics & Traffic

Real traffic alongside rankings.

Sessions, users and conversions from Google Analytics 4 or Matomo next to your ranking data, in a single view.

Analytics & Traffic: how it works

  1. 01

    The connection

GA4 connects through read-only Google access, Matomo with the instance URL and a token: Miraqo reads the data and writes nothing.

  2. 02

    The history

On connection, the last 90 days of sessions, users and conversions are imported.

  3. 03

    The update

New data arrives every day, with breakdowns by channel, country, device, browser and goal.

Analytics & Traffic: sessions, conversions and landing pages next to rankings

Site traffic in a single view

Google Analytics 4 or Matomo metrics inside the project, next to rankings and Search Console data.

  • Google Analytics 4 or MatomoGA4 through read-only Google access, Matomo even when self-hosted, with the instance URL and a token.
  • Sessions, users and engagementNew and returning users, page views, engagement rate, bounce rate and average time per session.
  • Organic or all trafficA switch separates visits from organic search from every other source, on cards and chart alike.
  • Daily trendA chart whose series can be toggled one by one, with 90 days of history imported on connection.

The conversions that matter

Not just how many people arrive, but how many do what the site needs.

  • Conversions and conversion rateGA4 key events or Matomo goals; for Matomo e-commerce sites, completed orders.
  • Conversion valueRevenue recorded by GA4 or goal value from Matomo, over the selected period.
  • By goal or key eventConversions split one by one, to see which goal is growing and which has stalled.
  • Channels, countries, devices and browsersWhere visitors and converters come from, with breakdowns refreshed every day.

Landing pages and keywords on the same row

Traffic is read page by page, together with the search data for that same page.

  • Top organic landing pagesSessions, users, engagement and conversions for every entry page from organic traffic.
  • Search Console alongsideSearch Console clicks, impressions and average position on the same row as the landing page.
  • Sessions in the keyword tableNext to each keyword's position, the organic sessions and conversion rate of its main landing page.
  • Organic traffic on the OverviewThe project card with organic sessions, users and conversions, alongside the rest of the overview.

AI visits, reports and updates

Traffic coming from AI assistants, and the data that ends up in front of the client.

  • Visits from AI assistantsSessions arriving from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other assistants, split by assistant in AI Visibility.
  • In the client reportThe PDF report summary shows sessions with their change over the period, users, conversions and engagement.
  • Daily syncData refreshes on its own every day, with the option to sync right away.
  • GA4 and Matomo togetherBoth sources can live in the same project, each with its own figures: they count visits differently.

Rankings tell you where you are, traffic tells you how many people actually arrive. To get both in one view, Miraqo connects to Google Analytics 4 or Matomo and brings sessions, users, engagement and conversions into the project, next to rankings and Search Console data. GA4 connects with a read-only Google login; Matomo with the instance URL and a token.

On the first connection Miraqo imports the last 90 days, then refreshes the data daily. You can isolate organic traffic from the rest, see which landing pages bring conversions and break everything down by channel, country, device and browser. In the keyword table, next to the position, you find the organic sessions and conversion rate of the main landing page: nothing to cross-check between two exports. The same metrics go into the PDF reports, so the client reads traffic next to rankings without opening a second tool.

Use cases

Analytics & Traffic: when to use it

  • Correlate ranking changes with real organic traffic
  • Show clients sessions and conversions in reports
  • Understand which channels and countries drive conversions

Questions about analytics & traffic

GA4 with a read-only Google login and Matomo with a URL and auth token. You can connect more than one per project.

The last 90 days are imported automatically when you activate the integration. Data then updates daily.

Yes. In the rankings table every keyword shows the organic sessions and conversion rate of its main landing page. The figure belongs to the page, which can also get traffic from other searches.

The connection is read-only: Miraqo reads your data but can never modify or write anything to your account.

Yes, each project has its own Analytics integration. You can manage different clients with separate accounts.

Sessions, users and conversions come from the property and match. Average time is calculated per session, while GA4 shows it per user, so that figure can differ.
