Naturalness Check: how artificial a page sounds

How to measure the statistical signature of AI texts on a page of your site — 0–100 score, formulas found and rewriting with the generator.

The Naturalness Check reads a public page of your site and measures how much its form resembles the typical shape of AI-generated text. No magic: it counts measurable things. Sentence rhythm, first of all — human writing swings from three-word sentences to forty-word periods, while generated text tends to hover around one constant average length. Then the recurring formulas (“in this article”, “in conclusion”, “it is important to note”), the openings that always lead with the subject, the paragraphs all cut to the same size.

An honest premise

The score measures form, not substance. A page can come out perfectly natural and still be empty of content; another can sound mechanical and be written by a person on a bad day. And this is not a detector: it doesn’t say who wrote the text, doesn’t look for watermarks, and makes no promises about the verdicts of external tools — which, for that matter, often contradict each other. It says one thing only, but it says it reliably and repeatably: whether the page has the flat rhythm and the formulas an attentive reader associates with AI text.

How to use it

Paste the URL and press Check. The page must be public and reachable; it can belong to any site of yours, not just the project’s domain. The score is deterministic — same page, same result — and each organisation gets 20 checks per day.

Three thresholds. From 80 up the page is natural. Between 50 and 79 there is something that needs review: open the checklist and see which checks fail — often it takes no more than splitting a few long periods or cutting two formulas. Below 50 the page sounds artificial, and that’s where the Regenerate this page button appears: it hands the text to the Content Generator, which rewrites it strengthened with your SEO data and with a human rhythm.

Two caveats. If the page holds fewer than 12 sentences of real text, the check stops without a verdict: on that little, the rhythm metrics would lie. And if you paste a home or archive page full of article cards, the score measures the teaser texts — a notice tells you so: the check works best on single content pages.

The column in the audit

After an SEO audit with Miraqo’s crawler, the Pages table also shows a Naturalness column, computed during the crawl on each page’s content — the same score as the single check, without re-reading the site. The Sounds artificial filter isolates the pages below 50: it’s the fastest way to find, across the whole site, the texts worth rewriting. A dash means the page holds too little text to judge.
